Woodfire Woodburner And Multifuel Stoves*Passiv Eco Boiler Stove – 10kW

The Woodfire Passiv represents the latest generation of highly efficient and cleanburning boiler stoves. An astonishing 86% efficiency, to give you the most heat from your wood, combines with clean lined good looks and a large window to fill your room with firelight.

This stove has been designed to give the majority of its heat to creating hot water, with just a small amount given to the room, which makes it perfect for low energy, well insulated houses. Passiv style dwellings require very little heating but still have a need for domestic hot water, and sometimes a heating top up in cold weather, and the Woodfire Passiv is made for that situation.

Unlike most boiler stoves, the Passiv has been designed solely for burning wood. Traditional boiler stoves put the boiler around the firebox and collect the heat that way. This works OK for coal burning but isn’t efficient for wood. Most of the heat from wood is generated just above the fire, where the gases are burning, and that is why the Passiv has tubular heat exchangers running across the top of the firebox. That also allows the firebox to incorporate vermiculite firebricks, resulting in a hotter, cleaner and more controllable burn.

With an insulated firebox, primary secondary and tertiary air control and an adjustable flue damper, this is a stove built to be worked hard, and be fully controllable, in any situation.

There is the option of a stand which increases the height of the stove by 375 mm. These are made to order.
