Make playing with the slot silo even more realistic with the tarpaulin and the car tires. After the feed has been driven into the silo, this can be covered with the tarpaulin. Then the car tires are put on so that the sail stays in its place. This cover is suitable for the slot silos of Kids Globe Farming in the scale 1:32 or 1:16.
In order to be able to store grass or corn for a longer period of time, it is ensiled, after mowing and drying the grass or maize, it is driven into a trench silo. Then the farmer always covers the feed to preserve it properly. Because all air from the corn or grass is pressed with a shovel, it can not go moldy. But to prevent air from coming back, you have to cover it. To keep the sail in place, car tires are often placed on the sail, so that it can not be blown off the pit.

Nowadays sand / soil is often thrown on the sail, a disadvantage of this is that when you need a pit you always have to first take off the ground. When it has frozen, this is not always easy, here you do not suffer from using car tires. This way you can keep the grass or maize for a few years and that is useful because one year the harvest is better than the other year.
And so when the harvest is a bit less, you still have good feed for your animals.

You can use the following items to fill the silo:
Corn (Article 571859)
Silage (Article 610760)

Dimensions Tarpaulin for trench silo approx. 60 x 50 cm.
